My style as an artist is realism. I don't want you guessing at what you are looking at. I prefer the pencil over all other forms of mediums. I enjoy the dark and lights of a good pencil drawing. I do believe that if you can draw, knowing all aspects of drawing, you can paint anything! Perspective is critical within any good drawing or work of art. 

I was age 12 when I discovered that I could draw. Every day after school for a six month period, I would come home and sit at my desk and trace characters out of my comic books that I had bought with my lawn cutting funds.  At the end of that six month period of time, after tracing those characters, I thought that I would just look at the character and draw them. You couldn't tell the difference, according to the individuals looking at the drawings that I had done. What I did not realize is that I had trained my eye hand coordination to the point of when my eye looked at what I was viewing, my hand would follow. 

My skills have developed over the years in discovering different methods, techniques of applying the lead to paper and utilizing different mechanical instruments in doing detailed drawings. I can draw anything now from comics to portraits, landscapes, architecture, animals, etc.
